How to apply for NBI Clearance (Malolos)

This is my experience in applying for an NBI clearance in Malolos City,  Bulacan. This may or may not be applicable to other NBI Branches.

1. Do not rely on NBI online application.

When I tried to apply NBI online,  I got worried to see that there were no available slots for the next 2 weeks and same with other NBI branches (ortigas, etc.). I only found available slots in san fernando pampanga for the same day application. I was about to go to San Fernando but decided to take a risk applying in NBI Malolos Branch.

To my surprise,  you may purchase an online application on the Store behind the NBI office. The price is 175 pesos only. If i remember it right,  the breakdown for the payment is the ff:

nbi clearance = 115 pesos
typing = 30 pesos
printing = 30 pesos

they will give you a fill up form, fill them up carefully. Make sure that all your input details are correct then pay them the amount.  Within minutes,  you'll receive your nbi online form and become part of the same day application.

Note: For RENEWAL APPLICANT, ensure that the people from the store encoding your data checks the RENEW box. whatever they say.

2. Bring 2 valid ID.
Check date of expiry,  not valid if expired except for previous copy of NBI Clearance

Authenticated Birth Certificate,
Alien Cert of Registration,
Senior Citizen,
Previous copy of NBI Clearance,
Valid passport,
Voter’s ID,
Driver’s License,
PRC License,
SSS ID,
GSIS,
UMID,
Postal ID,
School ID,
TIN ID

Take Note if RENEWAL, when it is your turn inside NBI office, give them first your previous copy of NBI CLEARANCE before giving them the form you from the store. This will prevent you from getting HIT! and experience delay of its release.
If your name got HIT,  expect at least 7 working days before release.

The whole process if you arrive there on 7am, you will most probably be done by 12pm.

Things not to do in applying NBI
1. shorts, caps and sleepers are not allowed.
2. earrings and piercings are not allowed
